Internal Responsible for Privacy
What is an Internal Responsible?
The Internal Responsible is an independent entity within the association. They are available to answer your questions about any data used/saved without self-interest. They follow the privacy rules as stated in the association privacy policy document, as well as what is mentioned in Dutch law. If you feel like your data was used without your consent or you discovered a data breach, do also contact the Internal Responsible. They will conduct independent research and contact the AP (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if they deem this necessary. The results of any research conducted by the Internal Responsible will be communicated to the board, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the advice from the Internal Responsible.
When to contact the Internal Responsible?
• You feel like your data is being used without your consent.
• You believe either the privacy document or the Dutch law on data privacy is not being adhered to.
• You discovered a data breach.
All questions may be directed at the board as well. For explanatory questions, the board will answer you themselves. For more serieus topics, the board will collaborate with the Internal Responsible to ensure that the right party will formulate a reply and start appropriate action.
